Questa email avverte gli utenti riguardo un danneggiamento permanente ed irreversibile al proprio disco rigido, qualora aprano un email con il soggetto “A Virtual Card For You” e riguardo la rimozione di tutte le librerie dinamiche (files DLL Dynamic Link Libraries) qualora venga letta un email che presenti, come soggetto: “An Internet Flower For You”.
Questa bufala contiene alcuni termini particolareggiati, al fine di aumentare l'autenticità del messagio.
Questo messaggio di hoax tende a diffondere l'apprensione e la paura nella visualizzazione delle email. E' altamente consigliata la rimozione di tale messaggio, qualora venga pervenuto.

Note Aggiuntive: Son presenti alcune parti contenenti degli artifizi di Social Engineering, al fine di aumentare il potere di convincimento, su tutti coloro che leggono il messaggio.

A new virus has just been discovered that has been classified by Microsoft (www.microsoft) and by McAfee (www.mcafee.com) as the most destructive ever! This virus was discovered yesterday afternoon by has yet been developed. This virus simply destroys Sector Zero from the hard disk, where vital information for its functioning are stored. This virus acts in the following manner: It sends itself automatically to all contacts on your list with the title “A Virtual Card for You”. As soon as the supposed virtual card is opened, the computer freezes so that the user has to reboot. When the ctrl+alt+del keys or the reset button are pressed, the virus destroys Sector Zero, thus permantly destroying the hard disk. Yesterday in just a few hours this virus caused panic in New York, according to news broadcast by CNN (www.cnn.com <http://www.cnn.com). This alert was received by an employee of Microsoft itself.

So don't open any mails with subject “A Virtual Card for You”. As soon as you get the mail, delete it.

Questo virus è stato scoperto ieri pomeriggio, in quanto già sviluppato. Questo virus, semplicemente, distrugge il settore 0 dell'hard disk, ove son presenti le informazioni vitali di funzionamento del disco rigido. Questo virus agisce nella seguente maniera: spedisce se stesso, automaticamente, a tutti i contatti presenti nella lista con il titolo “A Virtual Card for You”. Appena la virtual card viene aperta, il computer blocca il PC, costringendo l'utente nell'effettuare il reboot. Quando la combinazione ctrl+alt+del o il pulsante "reset" viene premuto, il virus distrugge il settore 0, distruggendo permanentemente l'Hard disk. Ieri, in poche ore, il virus ha causato panico in New York, in riferimento alle news diffuse da CNN (http://www.cnn.com). Questo allarme è stato ricevuto da un impiegato alla Microsoft.

Pertanto, non aprire email col soggetto “A Virtual Card for You”. Appena ti vengono recapitate, provvedi nel cancellarle.
